QikKids is now operational in processing CCR via CCMS, with clients submitting attendances through CCMS successfully and having CCR applied to parents accounts in QikKids. The feedback from clients is that the tools developed to manage CCR are great and easy to use without services having to make any changes to their existing processes.

From the information we have received from clients, it appears that around 10% of parents have nominated for their CCR payment to be made through their Child Care service, with other parents leaving for the default payment methods as per previous years.

For existing QikKids customers, over 1,500 people attended webinar sessions on these recent changes run by our Training team to learn more about how CCR is applied and the associated DEEWR rules relating to this process.  We thank those who attended these sessions and look forward to providing further educational sessions as a part of our commitment to client training.

QikKids is happy to announce that the version of QikKids to accommodate the recent CCMS changes is rolling out to our clients.  This version includes all of the changes to accommodate the payment of CCR to services as well as some other additional enhancements.

The roll out of the new version will be complete well before the cut off date imposed by DEEWR allowing clients to understand the changes and attend educational Webinars provided to QikKids clients at no cost prior to the official change.

QK Technologies (QK) announces Silver Sponsorship support of ACT for Kids (formely the Abused Childrens Trust) which is an Australian charity working very hard to treat and prevent child abuse. In June of this year QK donated over $10,000 worth of much needed computer equipment and on the 23^rd of July followed this up with a cheque for over $24,000. This money was raised from allocating a portion of  QK’s QikKids Software annual license fees to the ACT for Kids fund. QK Technologies including their staff will continue to support this wonderful cause and invites others to join their growing family of supporters by visiting www.abusedchildtrust.com.au .

QK Technologies Pty Ltd has been awarded the contract to supply Early Learning Services’ (ELS) with its premier child care management solution, QikKids.

QikKids Update 4.11.59 scheduled for release this Thursday 1st Oct at 6pm.

Two of the key changes you will notice with this release is 1) the ability to add an electronic copy of your signature to be printed at the bottom of statements and 2) Modification of Vacancy reporting to comply with new regulations.

1. Electronic Signature

For QikKids Professional and Enterprise customers you will now be able to add a copy of your signature to be printed at the bottom of your statements.

QikKids Web customers will also be able to enjoy this new feature in approximately 4 – 6 weeks.

2. Vacancy reporting

The Vacancy reporting tools have been modified to comply with the new regulations issued by DEEWR in early August.

Nepean Software Pty Ltd announces it will no longer support the Kiincare program and have approached QK Technologies to assist in the migration of clients to QikKids.


A migration plan has been established which includes online QikKids demonstration sessions, a data import process to limit the amount of time required to manually enter information, a financial package for those who have already paid their license fees and a dedicated migration team focused on making the overall process as easy as possible.
